A fully restored 1974 Dodge Monaco, tricked out to be a faithful replica of the infamous "Bluesmobile" from the "Blues Brothers" 1980 movie.

This replica of the famous Bluesmobile was built from love and passion for the film, it's characters and the car itself. It is available for car shows, parades, limo style rides, photo ops, concerts, in conjunction with Briefcase Blues Band and film & photo commercial work.

This baby was conceived out of a field in Kansas in 2011, fully restored by owner Paul ("Brother Zee") Andrews along with Briefcase Blues' J.W.("Brother Jake") Leggio.

This car is the featured "Bluesmobile" on Wikipedia.com and the official car for House Of Blues Dallas & Houston.

Body & paint by Jeremy ("Styx") Crum, all mechanical work by Ronnie ("The Wizard") Moyers and steel fabrication (police-style "push bars") by Ish Caraballo.

Complete list of refurbished items to follow soon, but suffice it to say:
(1.) The entire fuel system - from the gas tank all the way up to the engine - is completely new, and (2.) The cigarette lighter works.

"It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks, it's a model made before catalytic converters, so it'll run good on regular gas..is it the new "Bluesmobile" or what"? - Elwood J. Blues 1980 (quote from the film classic The Blues Brothers)

My Dallas/Fort Worth based "Bluesmobile" replica was purchased in February 2012 and spent the course of that year, getting a complete "mechanical restoration and Hollywood movie style makeover" to become the new "Bluesmobile" for the state of Texas. The "Bluesmobile" is one of the most recognizable cars in film history, and is truly an attention attraction at any themed event. When renting the Texas Bluesmobile, it has the capability of playing the best blues music from the engine WITHOUT the ignition on, and when hosting an event with a Blues Brothers theme, we travel with a unique collection of movie memorabilia including signed movie posters from Dan Aykroyd, a certified gold record of the "Soul Man", replica models of the car and so much more.

My car has been featured heavily in 2013 at the Allen, Texas Bluesfest, The Bedford BBQ & Bluesfest, various events for Live Nation owned properties including the House Of Blues and Gexa Pavilion, B.B. King's concert at the AT & T Performing Arts Center, as well as parades and car shows throughout North Texas. The car has been physically autographed (so far) by blues legends Wanda King, Eric Johnson and Blues Boy Willie.

August 2013, the Texas Bluesmobile has been granted and endorsed by the John Belushi Estate, Judy Belushi-Pisano and Live Nation as the ONLY sanctioned and approved car to use the title "Bluesmobile" and use on Live Nation owned properties in Texas. This was a tremendous honor bestowed to me and the legacy of the car.

The Texas Bluesmobile also works closely with the ONLY Dallas based show band to Jake & Elwood - Briefcase Blues which is also available for hire through this website.
