My wife Debbie and I have owned this Bel Air, named "Fast 57", since around August of 2005. I bought it from a good friend that's a professional restorer. His name Joe Sanders and he did all of the restoration. I did all of the engine detailing and accessories and added power rack and pinion steering.
I always wanted a red 57 Chevy, ever since I played with hot wheels.
This car is basically restored to the original except for the drive train and Classic Crager wheels. Interior is all stock, just like factory except for the floor shifter.
This car can drive anywhere. It's fun and it gets 20 miles per gallon.
