I've owned this Chevelle, named "Slick", since March of 2007 when I bought it from Barrett Jackson in Palm Beach Florida. I'm a huge fan of Barrett Jackson and never thought that I would have bought a car there, but now I have. I was enjoying the show with my friend Tony Snider and saw this Chevelle and fell in love with it. I love all Chevelles, especially first generation Chevelles. I like that "boxy" look like the Nova and Impala.
This car was professionally restored with a frame off rotisserie. The total underneath of the car, frame, chassis, and suspension is all powder coated.
The total car is restored to stock except for the special engine bay accessories and special accents that I personalized to my taste. I could have never restored this car myself to the premium degree that it is. This is a very special show car that has been featured in Sept 2008 Muscle Car Power Magazine, that the magazine nicknamed it "Slick".
The color is jet black and the interior is a two tone red that really pops. The car has a long sleek stance because of the two inch drop spindles and Boyd Coddington 20" wheels in the rear and 17" wheels up front.
I love driving it and showing it and hope you enjoy it as well.
