This car was a feature build on Discover Channel's Fast N Loud TV show, Season 4, Episode 3 - "Cool Customline". The Car was the personal driver of the Gas Monkey Garage's painter. KC. Richard Rawlings bought the car for a feature "Big" build on the show.
Mark Cuban bought the car for $50,000, had it pinstriped and detailed with the Dallas Mavericks colors and logo then donated it to Dallas and Fort Worth Can Academies to be used as a fundraiser for the schools. The car was raffled for the charity. "Texas Cars for Kids". For every $5.00 donated, sweepstakes entrants received five chances to win the car.
The car is an eight-cylinder, 162 horsepower Ford Customline Victoria two-door that was built in the Dearborn, Michigan plant in 1955. It has an Edelbrock intake and carb. headers, 5 speed manual transmission, and an 8" Ford rear end with 4 link suspension and coil overs. It has front disk brakes and an electric fan and fuel pump. It has new staggered wheels and tires and has a perfect stance.
It has new white and navy interior, chrome dashboard, chrome fenders and alloy wheels to replicate original models. Along with "Mavericks Blue" pinstriping down the sides, the Dallas Mavericks logo is prominently displayed on the hood of the car, done by 360 Wraps.
